Roadrunners Win At Hiwassee, 76-68
 
Madisonville, TN – The Dalton State basketball Roadrunners (11-1) knocked off Hiwassee College (1-8) Saturday night, 76-68.
 
Ricky Sears led Dalton State in scoring with 25 point.  Demetrice Jacobs and Sean Tate followed with 19 and 15 points respectively. All but three of Jacobs points came in a strong second half.
 
Preston Earle fouled out with 54.4 seconds remaining and seven points. Dylan Smith hit a couple of big three point shots to finish with six points.
 
Hiwassee's Justin Browner and Howie Meadows each had 14 points. Kasem Meadows came off the bench to add 12.
 
The Roadrunners led by five at the half (34-29).  They went out to a 14 point second half lead (62-48).
 
Next action for Dalton State will be at home on December 17. Southern Wesleyan University will invade the Northwest Georgia Trade and Convention Center for a 7:00 p.m. tip-off.
