Dalton State College Athletics

Michala Askew was the setter doe Dalton State in all 30 matches and 112 of 116 sets of 2015.  She tied for 76th in all of NAIA Division I volleyball with 904 assists for the year. She was 77th in all of D-I with 8.1 assists per game.

The senior finished in the Southern States Athletic Conference top 15 in six different categories. Her season high 48 assists against Reinhardt on 9/5/15 was a top ten performance in the conference for the season.

Askew also contributed 20 blocks for the year as the setter.

Michala is a graduate of Ringgold High School who played for Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, NY before coming back closer to  home when the Roadrunners began an athletics program.

She is the daughter of Donna Askew of Ringgold.
