What started as a summer job in 1996 at the Bradley Wellness Center quickly evolved into a passion for teaching group fitness. Since completion of her first Group Fitness Instructor certification through AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America) in 1997, she has completed certifications/certificates through the following organizations and programs: Yoga Alliance 200hr RYT; Mossa Group Power; Group Ride, R30, and Group Core; CrossFit Level 1; and various other training programs through IFTA and SCW.
Karyn's next addition will be the Yoga Alliance 500hr RYT designation upon completion of a current 300hr yoga training program at Yoga Landing in Chattanooga, Tennessee. In addition to teaching group fitness classes at Bradley Wellness Center, she works full-time for Hamilton Spine Health and Sport, a division of Hamilton Medical Center, as a sports performance trainer.
In her spare time, Karyn loves traveling, reading, and anything in or around water, but most of all being Mom to two awesome kids, Cole and Kendall.
