Dalton State College Athletics

Anthony D'Angelo is a Senior at Dalton State majoring in Business Management. D'Angelo is from Gulfport, Ms. where he was voted Mr. Long Beach at Long Beach High School. He also was part of his team winning state champs for two seasons; three time district champs.

Anthony comes from an athletic family.  Heavily recruited to play football while in high school, D'Angelo elected to go the community college route.

D'Angelo was quarterback on the Hinds (MS.) Community College football team in 2012.  But a switch to golf has found him here at Dalton State. 

His father, Joey, played linebacker at Southern Mississippi and has been head football coach at Long Beach High and Gulfport High Schools. His mom, Terry, played basketball at Tulane University.  She has served as girls' basketball coach and athletic director at Long Beach High and is currently the AD at Our Lady Academy.

Anthony's brother, Micky, was a three year starting center at Southern Mississipi. Mickey is an football offensive coordinator and girl's golf coach at West Harrison High School in Harrisosn County, Ms.

Brother Robby also played offensive line for the Golden Eagles.

D'Angelo had an average scoring of 77.6 and had two top 10's and three top 25's.

Anthony's favorite golf course is Whistling Straits and his dream four ball are Arnold Palmer, Tiger Woods (2001), Ben Hogan, and Jack Nicklaus.
