Rafael is a 2009 graduate of Murray County High. He didn't run cross country until his senior in high school. He opted for soccer.
Pacheco is the winner of the 2012, 2013, and 2014 Runs For John and has completed a 5k with a time of 16:38 and an 8k at 27:06. He has a 1500 time of 4:30.
Rafael is an honor student at Dalton State who enjoys the college competition. He is the son of Anna Maria Godinez and Rafael Pacheco of Chatsworth.
