Biography
2020-21 (Junior):
Rachel is set to begin her junior season as a Lady Roadrunner.
2019-20 (Sophomore):
Battled teammate Alex Gass for the second spot on the team throughout the first part of the Fall with a best finish of 6th at the West Georgia Opener on 9/27. Set collegiate 4K best at the UTC Twilight Classic with a 16:09 on 9/13. At the Live In Lou Louisville Classic on 10/5, she finished second on the team with a PR of 20:00. She later lowered her PR to 19:49 in the next event, the Sand Shark Invitational. She became the all important fifth runner as the SSAC Championships who's time was a deciding factor in the SSAC Champion Lady Roadrunners.
2018-19 (Freshman):
Finished second on the team in her first meet. Followed that up with two-straight 7th place finishes in the MGA Invitational and Tiger Invitational. Led the team in two of the next three events, the Foothills Invitational and the Sand Shark Invitational, lowering her PR at each event. Was named SSAC Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 15-21, 2018 for her effort at the Sand Shark Invitational. Capped off the season with a PR of 20:07 in the SSAC Cross Country Championship, bringing home a 7th place finish and earning All-Conference honors. During the track season, she won her first race in the 1500M at the Embry-Riddle Invitational. She continued to have strong events, setting a PR in the Mile Run at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational.
