Biography
2020-21 (5th Year Senior):
AK is set to begin her season as a 5th year senior for the Lady Roadrunners.
2019-20 (Senior):
Has performed well coming off a redshirt sophomore cross country season riddled with injuries with two top 10's in four events. Ran her collegiate best 4K at the UTC Twilight Classic on 9/13 with a 16:51. Ran best 5K race of the season at 2019 SSAC Championship, a 20:19. Also, part of school record Distance Medley Relay team in track.
2018-19 (Junior):
Redshirt season in cross country due to injury. Came back healed to run the track season with impressive results by winning the 3000M Steeplechase at the SSAC Track & Field Championships with a school-record time of 12:33. Also, placed 2nd in the 10,000M with a school-record 42:37 to make All-Conference in the event for the third consecutive season.
2017-18 (Sophomore):
Battled injuries all season after an impressive freshman campaign taking part in only seven combined events between the cross county and track season. The highlight of the season was 3rd in the 10,000M run during the track season to make All-Conference.
2016-17 (Freshman):
Broke out early with a 10th place finish in her debut cross country run as a Lady Roadrunner. She ran her first sub-20 minute 5K in a Dalton State uniform, a 19:58, at the Sand Shark Invitational. She would go on to finish 7th overall at the SSAC Cross Country Championship and earn All-Conference honors. During the track season things started to take off for the freshman as she won the 10,000M SSAC Championship.
