Cole Thornton earned SSAC All-Freshman and All-SSAC honors in 2015. He finished 15th at the Conference Champions in Clinton, Ms. with a time 28:14.
Thornton finished 118th at the SSAC National Championships in Charlotte, NC. with a time of 26:37.3. His fastest time of 26:24.7 came at the NAIA Fall Preview in Charlotte.where he finished 43rd.
