Biography


Kianna Delaney finished out her volleyball career in 2015 by playing in 16 matches and 33 sets for Dalton State. She led the team in kills (303), kills per game (2.83), solo blocks (36) and total blocks (70). 

Delaney was a candidate for the SSAC Attacker of the Week for the week of 9/18/15 when she averaged 3.73 kill/game and had an attack percentage for the three matches that week of .316.  She finished the season in the top 15 in the SSAC in blocks/game (0.7), hitting percentage (.190), kills/game (2.8)total kills (303), and total blocks (70). Her 2015 season high in kills came against Reinhardt on 10/19/15.

In 2014, Kiana had 220 kills for the Roadrunners (an average of 2.14 per game). She had 96 digs and 101.9 total blocks. 


Delaney came to Dalton State from Wallace State Community College in Hanceville, Alabama. During her sophomore season (2013), she led the Alabama Community College Conference Region 22 in three categories - 3.03 kills per set, 485 kills for the season, and135 blocks. She was third in the conference with a .334 hitting performance. 

Wallace State was back to back conference champions. Kianna was also Region Player of the Year and Region Tournament MVP. She was a four year volleyball player and three year starter at Ooltewah High School. Kianna was District Tournament MVP for the Owls. 

The 5'10" Middle Blocker is the daughter of Kerry Delaney and Darrell Williams.
