VALDOSTA, Ga. – #1 Dalton State displayed impressive skills at Kinderlou Forest Golf Club in Valdosta, Ga., securing a third-place finish in a competitive field on Monday and Tuesday. The Roadrunners concluded the tournament with a total score of +22, 886.
 
Point (Ga.) (+3, 867) took the team title with Reinhardt (Ga.) (+13, 877) in second. Behind the Birds in fourth was Cumberland (Tenn.) at 889 (+25). #5 Coastal Georgia at 892 (+28) rounded out the top 5.

RECAP
There were numerous standout performances, with Jack Whaley leading the charge, notching an outstanding score of -8 to become the individual medalist of the tournament. His performance was a clear highlight, providing Dalton State with a significant advantage. Other notable contributions came from Joe Getley (+9), Ben McFadden (+14), Tyler Latimer (+15), and Barrett Loftis (+10), each delivering vital strokes to help secure the team's strong finish.

#1-ranked Dalton State will have solid time off before they hit the course again on March 10-11 in the Carey Collegiate Classic at Canebrake Country Club in Hattiesburg, Miss.
