Women's Soccer Nets Third Consecutive Tie With Draw Against Brewton-Parker


MOUNT VERNON, Ga. – Dalton State pulled a strong defensive effort holding Brewton-Parker (Ga.) scoreless but couldn't get the winning goal in a 0-0 tie against the Barons both squads SSAC opener in Mount Vernon on Saturday afternoon.

Dalton State (Ga.) goes to (2-2-3 overall, 0-0-1 SSAC) on the season with the draw, while Brewton-Parker (Ga.) stands at (3-5-1 overall, 0-0-1 SSAC) with the tie. It's the 3rd straight tie for the Birds who have out-shot their opponent in 2 of the last 3 matches.
 
The Lady Bird D was once again stout only allowing 4 total shots and 2 on goal. Brooke Alvarez saved both shots she faced.
