Lady Birds Take Down Oakwood

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - For the second time in less than a week the Dalton State Women's Soccer team but a big number on the scoreboard, scoring nine goals in a 9-0 romp of Oakwood (Ala.) in Huntsville, Ala. on Friday.

RECAP
Andrea Lopez and Adriana Delgado collected the first four goals of the day with Andrea Soto Calderon collecting assists on the first two and Maria Vazquez notching another. Vazquez would score the fifth goal unassisted. Senior Kaela Ebanks scored the sixth, with Griselda Ruiz finding the back of the net for the seventh. Selina Vazquez would assist on Ebanks and Ruiz's goals.

Caylee Carpenter would score the final two goals for the Lady Roadrunners with assists from Ruiz and Rocio Carrizales.

UP NEXT
The Lady Roadrunners will be back in action on September 27 when they take on #16 Mobile (Ala.) at Lakeshore Park Soccer Complex. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
