Roadrunners Square Off Against Ambassadors

DALTON, Ga. – The Dalton State Women's soccer team suffered a loss and a tie in their previous two games but will look to get their momentum back when they take the pitch against Oakwood University this afternoon at Lakeshore Park.

DALTON STATE
The Lady Birds started the season off winning four in a row and are currently ranked #3 in the SACC. In the previous game, Dalton State was moments away from defeat when Junior Alyssa Bilbrey kicked in a last-minute goal to send the game into overtime. After the game, Junior Andrea Lopez became the team's scoring leader with 5 goals and 10 points. Dalton State continued their shooting prowess by outshooting UMFK 15-9.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
The Oakwood Ambassadors have lost their first two games and are ranked #13 in the USCAA. In their previous game against fellow USCAA member UMFK, the Ambassadors were blown out 14-0.
