DALTON, Ga. – The Dalton State Women's soccer team are back home and looking to bounce back from their first loss of the season. They will take the pitch against the UMFK Bengals this afternoon at Lakeshore Park.

The Roadrunners are 4-1 for the season and are ranked #3 in the SACC. They are outscoring their opponents 20-3 and outshooting their opponents by a whopping 108-15. Junior Adriana Romero leads the team with 4 goals, 1 assist, and 9 points. Junior Sarah Chamale leads the team in shots with 16 and shots on goal with 9. Goalkeeper Sydnee Newton has recorded 9 saves fo far this season.
 
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
The Division-1 MFK Bengals are currently ranked #2 in the USCAA with a record of 1-0. In their only game, the Bengals blew out the Oakwood University Ambassadors by an impressive 14-0.
