Lady Birds Take The Pitch Against Shorter

ROME, Ga. – The Dalton State Women's soccer team will try and extend their record to 5-0 when they head to Rome to take on the Shorter Hawks today at Ben Brady Field.

DALTON STATE
The Roadrunners have been amazing so far this season, with a current record of 4-0 and are ranked #2 in the SSAC. They are coming off a 7-1 blowout win against Talladega (Ala.) where Junior Andrea Lopez pulled off an impressive hat trick. Also keep an eye on Junior Adriana Romero who has recorded 4 goals and 3 assists.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
The Shorter Hawks have had a rough start to the season, scoring only 2 goals in three losses. They are currently ranked #13 in the Gulf South Conference with a record of 0-3. They have been out-shot 41-36 by opponents and are 14 of 36 for shots on goal.
