PULASKI, Tenn. - #5 Martin Methodist proved why they are a top-5 team in the country by ending Dalton State's season with a 6-1 loss at Grissom Pitch in Pulaski, Tenn. on Saturday afternoon.

THE FIRST HALF

Cabral would connect with Miku Sunaga on a goal scoring combination in the 15' to put the Lady Red Hawks up 4-0.

Martin Methodist would not stop there with another goal in the 23' by Natsuna Sugishita for a 5-0 lead. Dalton State would get a shot at goal in the 37', but Caitlin Dumond would stop the opportunity by Adriana Romero as the Lady Roadrunners would go into the half facing a 5-0 deficit.

THE SECOND HALF

Shots from Sugishita and Lily Fisk would go wide and high respectively, setting the Lady Roadrunners up with a scoring chance of their own. They would make the most of it with Yovanka Pineda knocking home a goal past Dumond to get on the scoreboard.

The four goal lead would get back to five in the 58' when Sunaga collected her second goal of the evening for a 6-1 lead. The Lady Red Hawk defense would tighten up from there as Martin Methodist would control the rest of the match and take the victory 6-1.
