Lady Roadrunners Light Up Scoreboard, Beat Talladega 10-0


DALTON, Ga. - The Dalton State Women's Soccer team lit up the scoreboard Saturday afternoon in a 10-0 non-conference victory over Talladege (Ala.) at Lakeshore Park.

Sophomore Adriana Romera led all Dalton State players with three goals in the game. Romera would also add one assist. Sophomore Keyle Snyder came up bigh with two goals and two assists, as the Lady Roadrunners led 9-0 at the half.

A beautiful header by Diana Hitesan in the second half would cap off the Roadrunner scoring on the afternoon. The Lady Roadrunners improve to 2-1-1 on the season, while Talladega (Ala.) falls to 0-1.

The Lady Birds will play again on Sunday, September 10 when they take on Oakwood (Ala.). Kickoff will be at 1:00 p.m. at Lakeshore Park.
