DALTON, Ga. - The Dalton State Women's Soccer team will kickoff their season tonight when they matchup with Shorter (Ga.) University at 6:00 p.m. at Lakeshore Park.

The Roadrunners welcome back a loaded roster and have added some key additions. SSAC assist leader Rosie Lindo returns as does top goal scorer Adriana Romero. New players have come on board in Andrea Garcia, Kelsie Floyd, and Rocio Carrizales who look to add to the Roadrunner attack. The Lady Birds looked good in recent scrimmages against the top two teams from the Appalachian Athletic Conference and will look to keep the momentum going tonight.

SHORTER
The Hawks are looking to rebound after a disappointing 2016 season that saw them go 1-14-2 overall and 0-8-1 on the road. Will Shorter be able to keep up with the attacking style of the Lady Roadrunners? That question will need to be answered early.
