Dalton, Ga. – The No. 5 ranked Dalton State men's tennis team continued to roll on Saturday with an 8-1 win over NCAA D-II Shorter University at Lakeshore Park.
"It was another great match for the guys," said DS Coach Zack Rogers. "We came out fast and took all three doubles lines and brought that same intensity into singles play."

The Roadrunners (15-4 overall, 8-1 SSAC) are now on a 12-match win streak. The Southern States Athletic Conference Tournament will be held April 22-23 at the Mobile (Ala.) Tennis Center.
The Shorter Hawks fall to 8-11 on the season. They remain 4-6 in NCAA Division Two's Gulf South Conference. They will play in the GSC Tournament on April 14-17.Â
